Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15, 1961) was an American actress. In the film and television business, she is famous for her many awards and nominations. Bassett was brought up by her aunt in Winston-Salem North Carolina. She was born and grew up in New York New York. Bassett along with her sister who were about five years old, moved away from the city of their birth to St. Petersburg to live with the mother of their separated father. Bassett chose to become an actress after seeing the stage play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. Yale University New Haven Connecticut gave her a bachelor's degree (1980), in African American study, and an advanced degree (1983), from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale In 1997, they got married. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980. Masters of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her lead parts, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
